Sunday Worship

Worship is at the heart of who we are. What we do in worship, we hope to do in every moment of our lives, that is, to listen for God’s living word speaking into our lives and the global community, to share in the abundant hospitality of Christ's table, and to rest, rejoice, and re-orintate our lives through the life-giving movement of the Spirit.

At St Andrew’s we seek to be an inclusive worshiping community where whoever you are, wherever you are on your life and faith journey, you are welcome.

We value worship that is intergenerational. Empowering the voices of children and young people to be heard. Listening for the deep wisdom of our elders. Celebrating that God speaks in all places and peoples.

We value worship that authentically reflects our diversity, from traditional hymns to contemporary songs,
we seek to sing and live in harmony with one another.

We value worship that is courageous and creative, inviting all to participate in community art that holds the stories, experiences and prayers of the people.

Along with our minister Rev Ellie Elia, we have both retired ministers and lay leaders who help to lead Sunday morning worship.

Our Taize evening worship is a quiet time for reflection and meditation accompanied by Bible readings and music, led by members of the congregation.

Morning worship starts at 9:30 am every Sunday led by our minister Rev. Ellie Elia.

Evening Taize worship begins at 6:45 pm every Sunday

During school terms, we also provide ‘Workshop' in the hall (during the sermon time) for primary aged children to grow in faith and friendship with their peers.
Children are also welcome to remain with their family in church for the whole service.

All services are held at our church located at 7 Green Street, Glenbrook NSW 2773.
